If only our skin could talk! It would probably complain allot about what we put it through on a daily basis.

The fact that we abuse it and expect it to look healthy and glowing is not realistic; we must try to take good care of our Skin and we can start by learning the correct way of washing our face.

Listed below are 7 steps to correctly remove your makeup:

Step 1:  Wash your face with warm water and a mild cleanser and pat dry with a clean towel

Step 2:  Apply toner and wait for it to dry. Toner is useful for those with oily skin

Step 3:  Apply any topical medications, such as acne treatment

Step 4:  Apply eye cream or serum and let dry. This will help prevent collagen damage

Step 5:  Apply moisturizer. Drying out your skin will actually cause it to produce more oil.

Step 6:  Apply Sunscreen with SPF of at least 30 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

Step 7:  Apply makeup primer or foundation and proceed with your makeup routine.

By following these steps you will prevent any further damage to your skin and your Heart will be at ease when apply your daily makeup.

In my opinion prevention is always better than treatment! I’m sure many of you out there will agree with me on this. Treatment can be very expensive and time consuming which most of us simply can’t afford to do.

Always remember; skin care is of vital importance, since skin is the largest and most visible organ of your body!
