Promising scientific studies on yoga and health

This is a very interesting poster. I love it because it’s simple, yet conclusive. Many of the mentioned health benefits are direct and some of them are indirect effects of practicing yoga. For example, as yoga reduces stress, it also alleviates stress related problems, such as insomnia, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and many cardiovascular conditions, such as high blood pressure.

 

Even it seems hard to find an affordable yoga center, but many centers offer discounts and promotions and most of these centers are doing a great job. Also there’s a misconception that yoga is only for fit people, which is not true.
