To help you stay fit with your busy life, we found some fitness hacks to make exercising easier for you:

1. Sleep in your gym clothes
Are you an early morning workout person? Go to bed wearing your clean workout clothes, this will save time in your morning rush and keep you motivated.

2. Use the stairs
Stop standing on escalators and waiting for elevators, use the stairs to help you stay fit. Every minute on the stairs burns 10 calories!

If you want to lose weight, you need to exercise more and reduce caloric intake. Not necessarily eating less, but eating better. Divide your normal portion in half and save the rest for later – you’ll probably feel full on less food than you’d think. Increase vegetable intake.

3. Keep your gym bag in your car
Keep your gym bag and accessories in your car so you can go directly to the gym instead of getting stuck at home, a few minutes can turn into a few hours after you’re home and you lose exercise time.

4. Listen to an audio book
Start listening to a riveting book or podcast while you exercise, play it only while exercising. This will keep you motivated by wanting to know what happens next.

5. Download fitness apps
There are many fitness apps available to help with your workout. Download them and gamify your workouts! These apps offer social communities where you can give or accept challenges, share information and tips, and ask questions. This will keep you challenged.

6. Jog.fm
Jog.fm is an app that plays music from its library to match your pace. It has speed buttons if you want to go faster and is superb for exercising.

7. Make a schedule and follow it
This is for beginners, starting a new routine is hard. Plan a schedule and stick to it. This is the hardest stage, do it for at least a month to make it a habit.

8. Add minutes to your running
When you start exercising, start with walking or running for just one minute, keep adding one minute each day, this will get you exercising 30 minutes in just one month.

9. Talk while you run
Try to improve your ability to talk while running, this will regulate your breath and ensure that you are not overexerting yourself. This will also divert your mind from any pain you are enduring.

10. Drink water
Fatigue is often a result of dehydration. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, it will keep you energetic and you will not have any excuse to skip your exercise. Drink 8 – 10 glasses of water every day.

11. Link fitness to every activity
Try doing squats or planks while you wait for your coffee to brew. Stretch while you watch television or lunge from your car to your apartment. This will save you time and help you stay fit without much effort.

12. Make a playlist
Make a playlist as long as you want to exercise. Your iPod will monitor your time so you don’t have to watch the clock.

13. Find a gym close to home
If you like hitting the gym and depend on it for exercise, try to find one close to home. This will save time and eliminate skipping on rainy or bad traffic days.

14. Clean the house
Cleaning the house and doing chores is not fun but necessary. Performing these activities can help you burn calories without extra effort. You can also dance while you mop or vacuum, sing and shake it while dusting, every little bit counts!

15. Add frozen fruit to your water bottle
Add delicious frozen fruit to your water bottle, it will stay colder and be more of a special treat for exercising.

16. Plastic wrap for phone
If you are worried about your phone when it rains, wrap your smartphone in plastic wrap. The touch screen function will still work and your phone will stay safe.

17.Reward yourself
You can buy yourself cute, nice-fitting exercise clothes you are excited to wear and pay yourself for exercising. Sure fitness is it’s own reward, but slip yourself a buck or two every workout and save it for a spa day, a new book, that new blouse you’ve been eyeing in the store, or whatever.
