Regularly brushing with baking soda can hurt enamel because undiluted baking soda is abrasive. While we all want to have that smile that lights up a room, you shouldn’t do it at the risk of damaging your enamel. Once the enamel is gone, you cannot get it back.

On Your Face
Baking soda is said to help get rid of acne. As such, some people make washes and masks with it. While it can help to neutralize the skin, if your skin is sensitive, it can also dry it out and cause redness, itchiness, and a burning sensation. If you have sensitive skin, you should avoid it.
