Celebrity Makeup Made Easy (Blush & Bronze)

In the video above Kerie Ann London (Celebrity Makeup Artist) will show you how to apply Blush and Bronze to your face to give it that perfect definition and an amazing sun kissed look! She starts by using bronze powder any shade that is darker than your skin tone can be used as a bronzer it can be matte or shimmer which ever you prefer. She uses the bronzer to highlight certain areas of her face; on her Cheek bones making a “C” shape with the brush and all over her face for an overall bronzing affect.

She recommends that you put your makeup on in a natural light so you don’t go over board with the bronzer, making your face too dark. Then she applies blush on the upper part of her cheeks, this can be done gradually and always added on if necessary for darker cheeks. Always check to see if both sides are even in the mirror!

To finish it up she uses a highlighter on top of the blush to give it a sun kissed look.

How To Apply Blush to Different Face Shapes:

Oval faces – sweep your blush over your cheekbones.

Heart shaped faces – because your face can appear pointy, we need to soften the edges so it appears more like an oval. Apply blush to the outer corner of your cheekbone.

Square faces – your cheekbones are the same width as your chin, so to help define them apply your blush slightly below the cheekbone.

Round faces – try not to use pearlised or highly reflective blushers as these reflect the light well and make a surface appear more round, which we want to avoid – matte blushers would be best for you. Sweep your blush from the ear down the cheekbone towards the mouth.

Long faces – Apply blush on cheekbones below the outer corners of the eyes and blend well. Be sure the blush never extends lower than the tip of the nose.

Triangular faces – Blush should be applied in a sideways V on the cheekbones.
