How to See an Aura (Paranormal)

How to See an Aura

All living things that need oxygen to survive have an aura. They generate a large magnetic energy field that can be sensed, felt, and, sometimes, seen around the physical body. We can tell when someone doesn’t feel right to us, like they are full of anger or if they really live in their heart and feel deeply. One doesn’t need to be psychic to feel/read an aura.

An example of this might be a time when you were talking to someone and you thought they were standing too close to you. You may have even thought to yourself, “They’re in my space,” and then you backed away. Even this slight intrusion into your aura or ‘space’ can interrupt your personal flow of energy and you may feel slightly invaded.

An aura is usually 3 feet from your physical body, however an incest or rape survivor has an aura about 50 feet around them, which can be delicate and very sensitive. Life is full of color and like so many other things on your path, color also has meaning. One doesn’t have to be a Metaphysician to understand the importance of color in life. It exists in everywhere, everyday.

how to see auras

Auras are commonly associated with people. Sometimes we even use them to describe people: “He has an aura about him,” or “She just has a glow about her” when, in fact, all living things generate this field of energy. When associated to a person, the aura can provide insight into the spiritual, emotional and physical aspects of the individual.
Many people associate the color white with the divine, pink with love, and purple with royalty or spirituality. The following is a brief outline of primary colors and their common interpretation. To cleanse your aura burn sage, incense, or sweet grass in your home. This is also helpful for removing negative energy, including harmful spirits or ghosts.

The Aura is a reflection of our True Nature at any given moment. At this point it is perhaps necessary to explain what I mean by “True Nature” and why some effort is necessary to “discover” it. Our society seems to emphasize symbols, stereotypes, habits, manners, superficial behavior, pretending, following others and submitting free will to chosen leaders. Our education seems to be based on views and expectations of people who try to control the flock.

Our True Nature is what is left when we recognize and discard all our habits, stereotypes, manners, and pretending, superficial behavior and become fully conscious, truly natural and spontaneous. Note that some people are so attached to their manners and habits that it is very hard, if not impossible, to discover who they really are. The only way to get an instant insight into their personality seems to be by watching their Aura, because the Aura shows their True Nature, behind any facade of superficial behavior.

In general, the more colorful, cleaner and brighter the Aura, the better and more spiritually advanced is the person. Also, the more uniform the energy distribution in the Aura, the healthier and more balanced the person is.

Distribution of the energy in the Aura seems to have the potential of a powerful medical diagnostic tool, but usually requires using a complex equipment. The scope of this article is to concentrate on what we can easily see with our eyes.

Our Aura surrounds the entire body, but the interpretation of colors below relates to the Aura around the head only. Usually, people have one or two dominating colors (strong points) in their Aura. These colors (or their Auric pairs) will be most likely their favorite colors.

In addition to dominant colors, the Aura reflects thoughts, feelings and desires, which appear like “flashes”, “clouds” or “flames”, usually further away from the head. For example a flash of orange in the Aura indicates a thought or desire to exercise power and control. Orange as a dominant color is a sign of power and general ability to control people. Quickly changing “flashes” indicate quickly changing thoughts.

How to See an Aura:

First of all, find a white piece of paper and a place away from harsh light; soft light is best to read auras.

Place a hand on the paper and relax your eyes. Don’t stare at the hand, rather look at the areas around the fingertips and fingers.

After a while, if one is relaxed enough, one will begin to see a soft haze around the hand. If observed long enough, colors will start to appear. Beginners can usually make out only one color, but as they get better, there will be able to see more at one time. Don’t be discouraged if there isn’t anything there the first few times. It takes practice to become good at reading auras, and after a while you will realize that it’s not really as hard as you may have first thought.

One may also wish to take nonliving objects, like rocks and such, and try to see their auras as well. This can be very good practice. Positive auras are more of a glow, while negativity tends to show up as spots or smokey “imperfections” within that glow, though sometimes they can overpower it. This is never a good sign.
