Every time I turn around these days I am hearing something about keeping your body pH balanced. I did my own research to why this is, and it makes sense to me, it’s a healthier way of eating. Every meal should contain both alkaline and acidic foods, less acidic than alkaline in proportions. Alkaline is your fruits and vegetables, acidic would be your protein and whole grains. If your body is weak or sick add more alkaline until balance is found. Think of your acidic foods as light as feathers, and your alkaline rocks. Neither extreme is healthy, your body needs both.
