The most common symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS):

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). In other words, the immune system of the patient don’t recognize the neurons and start to destroy them. Depending of the location and severity of affected neurons the symptoms vary.

The most common symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS):
Fatigue [muscle weakness, mental fatigue, sleepiness or drowsiness] is the most common symptom of MS.
Visual problems [Blurred vision, nystagmus (uncontrolled eye movements), temporary blindness and double vision]
Cognitive dysfunction [short-term memory loss, impaired attention,…]
Dizziness and vertigo [feeling of spinning of surroundings]
Sensory problems/pain
Muscle spasms or spasticity.
Depression
Bladder and bowel dysfunction
Walking impairment
Speech impairment [dysphagia]
Rhythmic movement of the limbs [Tremor]
Changes in sexual function are also common in MS.
Heat over-sensitivity
