Eggplant contains solasodine glycoside, or BEC5, a phytochemical that has been shown to cure cancer. BEC5 fights cancer cells and has been effective in more than 80,000 skin cancer patients with invasive and non-invasive melanoma. Native Australians have been using eggplant extract for decades to cure their skin cancers.
