Using undiluted tea tree oils just two or three times a day can improve the looks of affected nails by about 56 percent in just three months.

Simply place a tiny drop of the tea tree oil on the nail a couple of times daily. Tea tree oil should never be taken internally because it can cause serious side effects such as confusion, coma and rashes.

Baking Soda

After washing and drying the nail, apply a 2:1 mixture of baking soda and water to form a paste. Rinse it off after 15 minutes. Repeat the treatment twice daily.
