In order to control your cravings consume a bit of proteins and fats with each meal, lack of one of these macronutrients may leave you craving anything. Ray advises not skipping meals, small nutritious meals six times a day are ideal for a healthy body.

Opting for healthy alternatives is a good idea. Ray is not against dairy or sugar but advises that healthy alternatives like natural sweets like fruit, maple syrup, or honey are better options. She prefers trying things like millet, chickpea flour, and buckwheat instead of white flour. Cheese made of sheep’s milk is preferred over cow’s milk. Using artificial sweeteners as alternative is not a good idea.
