Thyroid Dysfunction

It’s really not uncommon for your thyroid to function incorrectly, and it’s usually an easy fix. This poster shows symptoms of both overactive and underactive, if you have symptoms of either one please consult your health care professional

  1. If you suffer from hypo-hyper symptoms, you are most likely suffering from an autoimmune thyroid or Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Hashimoto's is where your immune system is attacking your thyroid.

In 1998, "The Journal of Metabolic and Endocrine Disorders" stated that 90% of hypothyroid is caused by an autoimmune thyroid or Hashimoto's. As a side note, I have recently written a book on thyroid disorders and it is available as a free download but I do not feel comfortable posting it because this is my first time posting here and I do not know their rules in regards to such matters. –Dr. J
