One of the purposes of the small toe is to find the furniture in the dark when you’re tired!
We have a very sweet memory with this poster. It was one of the first funny posters we designed and we were a very small page, maybe with less than 1000 fans in Facebook. The day we shared this poster, a very large Facebook page shared our poster (without tagging us) and this poster got thousands of likes and shares. So it was breaking every records that we had in that time and we were taking photos of the number of likes and shares, almost every 10 minutes!
Dates contain substantial amount of dietary fiber and therefore are beneficial in improving the digestive system, specially in treatment of constipation.
Dates are extremely rich in minerals as well as Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3 and C. And they don’t contain Cholesterol and other forms of harmful fats
You can enjoy your dates as a snack with your coffee or tea. You can also add dates to your cereal. Another option which is also my favorite is to make a dates omelet. We will share the recipe soon.
For many living donors, donation is one of the most amazing experiences in their lives, and yet people remain afraid of becoming a donor, before or even after death.
Is it the lack of facts that drive this fear? Misinformation?
The first successful kidney transplant took place in America in 1954, the donor lived to be 87.
Studies show that living kidney donors tend to live longer than non-donors.
Kidneys transplanted from an adult donor into an infant or small child has the greatest chance of success of any organ transplant in any age group, and yet people believe that children can not accept adult kidney (which it totally untrue).
There are currently 97,941 in the US waiting for a kidney, of those 860 are children.
Ray is a hero, a life saver. He didn’t let fear or misinformation stop him. He learned the facts and made the choice to save a life.
This is a part of Ray’s story: ” One of the top five happiest days of my life was this past Tuesday, the day of my surgery. It rates right after the day of my marriage and the days my three children were born. My dream of sharing my spare kidney was fulfilled, and I learned that the recipient was doing well with it.
Furthermore, through the National Kidney Registry, the recipient had a donor willing to “pay it forward,” and this began a kidney chain that would result in three others getting a new kidney that week.”

Sunflower seeds are excellent source of vitamins B1, B5 and E. Vitamin E is a very important vitamin that acts as an antioxidants in our bodies and fights against free radicals. Therefore vitamin-E is considered as an anti-aging and immune-booster vitamin. More importantly women, specially pregnant and breast-feeding women need to have more intake of vitamin E. The good news is, only 50 grams of sunflower seeds kernel provides 100% of the recommended dietary allowance for vitamin E.
These seeds are a good source of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, iron and manganese.
Also sunflower seeds contain some amino acids, dietary fiber and linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid). Those who should limit their fat consumption can also benefit from sunflower seeds, because these seeds contain good fats and they also lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and raise HDL (good cholesterol).
You can enjoy your sunflower seeds kernels on breads or muffins for a breakfast with nutty flavor;
Or Sprinkle them on your salad; Or add them to yogurt for a delicious healthy snack. You can make sunflower seed butter with them or you can prepare some pesto with it. Keep calm and eat sunflower seeds!
We are so very critical of ourselves, it is heartbreaking. We tend to think if we lost ten pounds (or 20, or 100, or 5) that our lives would magically become perfect, or that if we only had a tan, or a fuller mouth, or a different shade of hair… I want to tell you that none of those things will fix you, nor fix your life, nor make you feel better for longer than short term.
It took me a long time to learn this, but wherever you go, there you are. We each have to deal with our individual problems within ourselves first. We have to learn to love ourselves. You can learn how amazing and beautiful you are. Honest.
Look in a mirror, not critically, but with great love and affection. Imagine yourself how a parent or favorite adult saw you as a child… how adorable you were, and how adorable you still are. Close your eyes and see yourself as a love interest first saw you, how you appear to your best friend, and what you look like to your child. Think about your friends, and how amazing they look, think about the gifts that every person brings to your life, and think about what they look like again. Now do it for yourself. Open your eyes and look at yourself with love, with affection, with forgiveness. Give yourself a little hug or pat on the back. Laugh at yourself. You are going to be in this relationship for the rest of your life, may as well make it fun!
I find that truly loving yourself makes you treat your body differently. You want to eat foods that will enhance your body’s performance, not slow it down. You no longer want to smoke, drink to excess, or eat a whole box of cookies. There are days, however, when to love yourself is to eat a few cookies, and that’s OK, you deserve comfort, you deserve love, you deserve affection. When you give it to yourself, and give it to others, you will feel it flow back to you. A smile is the best curve on a woman’s body, so smile, relax, and enjoy.
