Your nails reflect your health and its important to keep them clean and healthy. What we eat is responsible for their appearance and health. Here are 5 juice recipes that can help you keep your nails healthy.

1. Cucumber – Apple Juice

Cucumbers are full of silica, a mineral present in nails, muscles, joints, and hair. 
Drinking this juice can help you keep your nails healthy and grow faster.
Ingredients:
a) Cucumber – ½
b) Lemon – 1
c) Celery stick – 3
d) Apple – 1

Directions:

Just toss the ingredients (except lemon) is a blender and blend until smooth. Then add lemon juice to make it more delicious. You can also add a pinch of salt and black pepper.

2. Watermelon – Kale Juice

Kale juice is good for your nails as it has good amounts of vitamins C, A, and K. It also has 20% RDA calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Ingredients:

a) Medium carrots – 6
b) Parsley – 1 bunch
c) Swiss chard – 4 leaves
d) Watermelon – 1/8 medium
e) Kale – 5 cups

Directions:

Wash carrots and parsley and peel carrots. Cut watermelon into pieces. Cut carrots and put them in a juicer to get the pulp. Process the kale alone in a juicer. Mix ingredients in a juicer. Makes 5 cups. You can store this juice in an airtight container for one day.

3. Mango-Blueberry Juice

Ingredients:
a) Kale leaves – 4-5
b) Mangoes – 2 small
c) Apricots – 2 with pits removed
d) Grapes – 30
e) Blueberries – 2 handfuls
f) Chia seeds – 2 teaspoons

Directions:

Remove all stems and put all ingredients except chia seeds in a blender or juicer with one cup water. When juice is mixed add chia seeds and let sit for 10 minutes to let seeds expand. Stir and enjoy. Makes 16 oz. Store in fridge and drink within two days. Stir or shake well before drinking.

4. Apple & Pear juice

Ingredients:
a) Kale – 1 cup
b) Lemon – 1
c) Cucumber – Half
d) Celery sticks – 2
e) Apple – 1
f) Pear – 1

Directions:

Due to vitamins and minerals present in dark green leafy vegetables they should be enjoyed often. Wash all ingredients and peel the cucumber. Put all the ingredients except lemon in blender until smooth. Add some lemon to your juice and a pinch of salt if desired, and enjoy.

5. Carrot Crush

Carrots contain vitamin A which is good for your nails. This juice recipe is perfect to keep your nails healthy.
Ingredients:
a) Large carrots – 3
b) Apples – 2
c) Lemon – ½
d) Ginger – 1 inch piece

Directions:

This juice is easy to make. Wash all ingredients and peel carrots and ginger. Slice carrots, apples, and ginger and put in a juicer. Add lemon to your juice and drink it.
