Belly dancing, also called Raks Sharki, is derived from traditional women’s dances of the Middle East and North Africa. Belly dance has enormous positive effects on the human body. The belly dancer utilizes muscles in her abdomen, pelvis, spine, and neck and moves each independently in a completely feminine interpretation of the music. So belly dance is like an internal massage for all internal organs and many health benefits are the outcome of this internal massage.
