The Master Cleanse

The lemon detox diet is a popular detox option, it’s effective at breaking down built-up toxins in your body while contributing to short-term weight loss. Ever since Beyonce was associated with the Lemon Detox diet, there has been a surge of interest in this particular plan.

The creator of the Lemonade Detox Diet Stanley Burroughs, primarily recommends this diet for healing of stomach ulcers.

Lemon Detox Diet

The Lemon Detox Diet is a Cleansing plan and recommends lemonade made from these ingredients for 10 days:

  • Lemon juice —-> 2 tsp freshly squeezed
  • Pure Maple Syrup —–> 2tsp
  • Cayenne Pepper —–> 1/10 tsp (dash)
  • Water  ——> 10 ounces

Preparation:

Mix the ingredients in the amounts listed and drink a minimum of 7 to 14 glasses during each day. You can prepare it at night and leave it in the refrigerator to drink the next morning. First thing you can drink warm lemon water then during the day use the one you prepared. You can drink it whenever you feel hungry or thirsty .

While many are aware of this Master detox diet plan, very few can get results and understanding of lemon detox diet! The primary goal is to get rid of toxins and free radicals that destroy healthy cells in your body. Most people have no idea how much toxic substances are left in colon and intestines as a result of a poor diet.

Many mistakenly believe a detox is for weight loss, you can lose a significant amount of weight during a detox,  but it’s just a positive side effect.

If you really want to commit to this plan set goals and prepare yourself, some people try a vegetarian diet and reduce coffee intake first which makes the transition easier.

When you have successfully finished your 10 days re-introduce food slowly, liquids like orange, celery, or carrot juice, then fruits and vegetables, do not overeat and remember to drink plenty of water. This is a great way to start a life free from disease.

The purpose of this plan is to give the digestive tract a 10 day vacation, so adding things to be digested does not contribute to the objective of the diet.

The natural sources of vitamins and minerals that are found in lemon and the maple syrup provide enough for the body’s needs during the detox.
