Does your hand size have anything to do with your personality? Some studies say that, yes, your hand size has a lot to do with who you are. So, take a look!

Hand-Size-Says-A-Lot-About-Your-Personality

Are your hands small?
There is a simple way to find out. Curl your hand toward your wrist. If you can easily touch your wrist, you have small hands.

People with small hands like adventure, and don’t mind the risk involved. Personal relationships, like romance, are never boring! Drama rules. People with small hand size tend to be adventurous with their belongings and money, too. They are quite generous.

Logical approaches to problem-solving are employed by small-handed people, and they do not procrastinate when faced with an issue.

Are your hands large?
If your hand size is large, you tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. Details are important for you, and you have a high level of job performance. You do tend to be somewhat more sensitive than the average person, and, realizing that, you may be somewhat standoffish upon introduction to strangers. You are aware that you may overreact to certain situations, which explains your caution.

What shape is your palm?

palms
Palm reading is sometimes taken very seriously. In a practical sense, the shape of the palm yields information about you, as well.

Square palms denote a practical person. You will often see builders with strong, square hands. Many people with square hands are engineers or mathematicians.

Quick problem resolution is a feature of those with rectangular palms. On average, people with rectangular palms tend to be quick thinkers, and quick conclusions can get them into trouble, so they usually make an effort to think twice.

Long fingers with a rectangular palm denote a person eager for adventure, yet sensitive to the feelings of others. Long fingers are often a mark of curiosity, both intellectual and personal.

What about fingers?

fingers
The proximity of fingers to each other when relaxed upon a table tell something about a person’s social comfort. The ring and index finger will lie either close together, or farther apart. Close fingers indicate a need for social interaction, love and security. These people like family and friends around them almost always.

If the fingers lie farther apart, a person needs alone time and more space than others may require. Some of these may be considered loners, but often they are fond of socializing, just not as frequently as others. People with distanced middle and ring fingers tend to be somewhat spiritual, and require solitude for this quest.

Mice have clued us in on the length of our ring fingers, particularly in men. Before birth, both mice and humans are exposed to male and female hormones. With the predominance of female hormones in utero, women tend to have shorter ring fingers than index fingers.

Men, on the other hand, have ring fingers much closer in length to their index fingers. This is due to the predominance of male hormone uptake before birth for males.

Men with longer ring fingers will express strong male traits such as aggression, tenacity and fearlessness. Women with the shorter, feminized ring finger tend to behave thoughtfully and deliberately.

As for the mice? Male mice that did not have the receptors necessary for proper male hormone uptake had shorter, typically feminine digits. In female mice, the opposite was true. With scant receptors for female hormone through medical interference, they had the longer, typically male digit length.

Researchers at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Florida were able to trace how hormonal input affects our identity and personality. The length of digits in mice translated nicely into the relation of human hormones and affects on personality through observation of finger length.

Palmistry has been around for a very long time, but many people do not take it very seriously. Palm reading has traditionally been considered entertainment. Today biological researches are taking clues from the shape of hands and fingers to accurately evaluate behavior and personality.
